I love shooting events that I care about -- ones that have deep meaning to me and to the client, and that are fascinating, amusing, or otherwise engaging. It might be a concert, festival, fair, or historic reenactment that lasts a few hours or a few days. But it also could be the long evolution of a city landmark, a prolonged expedition into the wild or into foreign climes-- or my chronicling an event you've planned and imbued with your heart and soul. Sure, you can do it yourself with your digital point-and-shoot.
